As I told you in a previous "outfit details" blogpost, I LOVE recycling clothes and investing in high-quality and timeless pieces. This cute summer dress with lace trim is no exception and comes from a small boutique in Strasbourg, France (Online Store Nice things by Paloma S.) that looked like Aladdin's Cave to me when I made the purchase!
This dress was found in the cutest shop in Verbania and I remember that it was slightly too big for me. I was hesitating because the pattern with the embroided flowers looked so good, I was almost ready to have it tailored. And that's when the Italian saleswomen gave me a great tip ...
Have you heard about the French brand Sinequanone? I have been a huge fan for years. There designs are timeless and the quality is beyond reproach. I've just discovered that they launched a new website and ship worldwide. Hurray!
When it comes to summer dresses, I have a weakness for lace and eyelet dresses....I find them so classy and timeless, two qualities that made me buy this beautiful dress by the brand J.Crew. I usually wear above-the-knee dresses to make me look taller but I wanted to change and opted for the midi-length. I decided to wear my light pink slides to finish the look, which are my staple for an effortlessly chic warm-weather outfit.
I found the perfect flower bushes for this photoshoot! The summer dress I'm wearing has been in my closet for years and taking care of it paid off. I like investing in high-quality (doesn't necessarily mean that it is overpriced) and timeless pieces that I will be happy to wear again and again without having enough of it.
And another dress outfit on the blog! This one reminds me of the 1920's because of the square neckline, the fitted waistline and the light fabric. I don't know if you can see it but the dress has a delicate flower print (tiny blue, white and red daisies). This summer dress is perfect for hot summer days and I accessorized it with my blue bag Pliage by Longchamp and blue wedges.
