Vegan Chewy Pecan Nut Cookies

Looking for the perfect vegan sweet treat to indulge in without regrets? Well, I think I’ve got you covered. This recipe is super simple and foolproof, the cookies come out of the oven with this perfect fluffy texture. Mmmmmmmh! I always do big batches whenever I cook, not because I'm afraid of starving but because I can enjoy leftovers for a longer period of time! I’m definitely not a morning person and really enjoyed having these cookies on hand for breakfast for an entire work week.

Italian Vegan Olive Oil and Orange Cake

I have this thing with Italian food that does not fade away. Baking this flavourful cake virtually brought me back to Sicily where we spent our holidays a few years ago. I have so many culinary memories from this place, the almond wine, the pastries and pasta were just mind-blowing. Have you ever been to Italy? If you’re a foodie like me (and if you NEED sunshine), you should definitely add this country onto your bucket list.

Vegan Raisins and Vanilla Buns

Hello lovely people! Wondering how to transform your weekend breakfast into a lavish experience!? Well, the good news is: it’s easier than you think! Fresh orange juice, a delicious homemade vegan London Fog (here is the express recipe for it: Earl Grey from Taylor’s of Harrogate + a few drops of almond milk + 2 tbsp. maple syrup) and fresh fruits are a great start to prep your morning feast. Baking your own buns will just be the cherry on the cake...

Vegan Cranberry Loaf

I used to keep my baking power in the kitchen cupboard for special occasions. These days are gone! Since starting this blog, I enjoy a very diversified diet and baking lavish cakes on a regular basis is just part of my landscape now. Francois doesn't have a sweet tooth so he isn't really of any help getting them eaten so we always end up giving away half of my yield. But what do you want, it's a nice feeling!

Pear and Coconut Smoothie

The deep green shade of this smoothie says it all…it’s packed with iron and vitamin E, just what I need right now to fill myself up with energy during the winter months. Smoothies are a Sunday affair for me as I love taking the time during weekends to prepare a real, kingly breakfast. During the week, not so much.

Vegan Cosmic Blueberry Smoothie

Preparing smoothies is more of a weekend activity for me. During the week, I need a quick fix. Something like toasted bread with vegan butter + my homemade vegan London fog that takes only a few seconds to prep and I'm off to work. I'm definitely not a morning person even if I wish I was. I just prefer staying in bed a little bit longer than starting the day with a mess in my kitchen...and be late. This smoothie is super easy and vegan of course! Unleash your creative power to decorate it as wildly as you want!

Vegan Cinnamon Rolls

One of the best feelings in the world is to wake up on a Sunday morning with the smell of freshly baked cinnamon rolls. I’ve followed the recipe of the Vegan Queen – Angela Liddon – step by step, except for the vegan cream cheese frosting as it would have been too sweet for me. Her blog “Oh She Glows” is a gold mine of delicious recipes I will probably never get tired of. What about you lovely people, what are your favorite cooking blogs!?

Vegan Spiced Banana Bread

I’ve kept my breakfast routine very simple lately and for a good reason….I can’t really stand complex/strong tastes in the morning and toasted bread with vegan butter is about the only thing I can swallow. However for the weekends, I love starting the day with something a little bit more fancy than just bread while I watch my favorite French show (On n’est pas couché) to keep myself up to date for my next Skype session with my family!
