Guys!!! This is the quickest, simpliest, easiest, healthiest recipe ever! Bulgur is a great alternative to rice and pasta. Also, if you’re trying to cut down on meat and navigate seamlessly into the world of healthy vegetarian recipes, this one is for you. I mixed together bulgur, grilled mushrooms, feta cheese with a sprinkle of olive oil. Bulgur is super healthy and I love it because it is a nutritious cereal grain: bulgur is rich in iron, potassium, zinc and vitamin B3. Timing: 25 minutes
– 3 cups bulgur
– 5 portobello mushrooms
– 200g feta cheese
– olive oil
– salt & pepper
In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil, add a pinch of salt and cook the bulgur for 12 minutes.
Wash and chop the mushrooms.
Heat 2 soup spoons of olive oil in a pan over medium heat and cook the mushrooms for 5 minutes.
Dice the feta, set aside.
When the bulgur is ready, drain it.
Mix all the ingredients together, season with salt and pepper and stir up.
